The Foreign Ministry spokesman :Iran’s defensive measures are fundamentally designed to restore regional security and stability

.

In releasing a video featuring CENTCOM commander Brad Cooper’s remarks, the Foreign Ministry spokesman asserted that Cooper explicitly named five Gulf Cooperation Council member states and Jordan as participants in the U.S. military aggression against Iran. Should this U.S. claim prove untrue, the governments in question must officially and unequivocally deny it.

Against this backdrop, when Iran exercises its inherent and legal right to self-defense by targeting U.S. military bases, assets, and support infrastructure located on the territories of these countries, the question "Why did Iran do this?" becomes utterly meaningless.

It must not be forgotten that the primary source of insecurity and conflict in the region remains the military aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran. Any participation in this aggression—including merely providing a platform for military operations—constitutes an act of aggression, violates the principle of good neighborliness, and contravenes Article 2, paragraph 4, of the UN Charter, as defined under UN General Assembly Resolution 3314.

Iran’s defensive measures are fundamentally designed to restore regional security and stability.
