The Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET), in its report entitled "Assessment of the espionage threats to Denmark", levels unsubstantiated allegations against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Islamic Republic of Iran categorically denies any involvement in the alleged activities construed falsely and distortedly as a threat against Denmark.

It is worth noting that Iran, relying on its indigenous capabilities and highly educated human resources, has registered tremendous progress in scientific achievements in the past couple of decades, thereby, contributing substantially to global scientific knowledge. The Iranian scientific and academic community has maintained excellent and healthy partnerships with prestigious universities and scientific institutions around the world.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Copenhagen reiterates its continued support for cooperation between Iranian and Danish scientific and academic circles.
